Does is hurt so much to believe it’s true ,
That someone would die on a cross for you?
That He gave His life so you could be free,
from sin and judgment and human decree?
It’s tough to belong in a world full of sin,
but it’s worse to be left when your life really begins.
For when the end comes and your time is at hand,
you’ll see up in Heaven how your life was planned.
He gave us all choices, free will to do good.
He watched as we made them to see if we could.
He cried when we turned our backs on his grace.
For he had created the whole human race.
He didn’t ask much, just know He is there,
and when we have doubt, say a few prayers.
For He is the strength that we all need these days.
We should all be so thankful and give him praise.
