About precious chances being missed

Poem Artwork

In my dream she appeared in a velvet blue dress

Long legs, short hair, pretty shape, I must confess

She said: “Take Indra’s gift it’s made for you

Don’t miss the chance of becoming true ”

From her hands I took the rosary with courage and awe

Golden and Ruby pearls sparkled in a shiny row

I placed the rosary around my neck

The earth trembled the power spread

Blissful lightning bolts danced without end

But seduced by pride I forgot my new friend

Oblivious of blessing I fell back to my normal dream

Wasted lives passed on a shrouded screen

Broken there lay the pearls on wet meadow ground

A hundred precious sparkles were scattered around

I kneeled on the earth, combing hay for the lost pearls

The last was not found in a dream of despair

Awakening to the milky light of a gray boring day

I cried for a lost pearl so many years away

One day, I felt, the last pearl will be found.

Only God knows if I’ll still be around.

This write could almost be called "loss of faith." We all need to find the lost pearl. Thanks, Franz.
