If I lay my heart on love's floor, will you step on it
or build a fortress around it and
protect it from the arrows of
carelessly chosen words that would pierce it and leave it
bleeding?
After you've had a long day,
can I prepare a warm bubble bath
for you, surround the tub with
lavender scented candles and sprinkle red rose petals on the
floor?
Will you be grateful for my sweetness or mistake kindness
for weakness?
If your breasts are the only
breasts that feel the warm
caress of my lips and tongue,
will you spend a million mornings
with me?
When grief leaves me in tears,
will I find your open arms or
will you see me as less than a man?
I can't just put my toes in love's water. I need it to wash
over me from toes to head but
will I find instead a heart
that's freezing?
You see, I feel the ground getting softer.
It's starting to shift.
I hear love's call.
I might give in.
I need to know before I fall.

One of the most freighting places for a man.
The fall even more freightening is to love and lose all.

..dear friend in LOVE you will never fall..in LOVE you can only dance the dance of ecstasy...swirling and twirling with delight..do not allow fear to destroy that which you wish to share and be..be the extension of Love that you are..go for it!!!
