Some Haiku verses.

The breeze stirs the trees
As it ripples through the leaves
Music to the ears
~

Shining like diamonds
The jewelled lace of a web
Dressed by morning dew

~

The butterfly sips
The sweet nectar of flowers
Gives way to a bee

~

Moonlight on the sea
Path of shining silver light
Dark water divides

~

Look to the morrow
Last rays of the setting sun
Paint the sky rose red

~

Let me walk along
Silver path of moonlight beam
To the land of dreams

~

House Martins flying
To a Continent Southwards
Return in the Spring

~

Song of a Skylark
Trills as it spirals up high
Tween heaven and earth

~

I reach for the sky
My branches upward pointing
Tangled roots hold me

~

 Reviews of "Haiku"

"Moonlight" and "Butterfly" are my favorites. I am always happy when I see haiku using the natural world ala Basho. Just a little more separation between thoughts/images and the counterpoint and you've got the haiku down. Lovely language.
