Religion
Religion about the days of the week.
Religion about the things we eat.
Religion about the clothes we wear,
About the way we style our hair.
Religion about body parts we cut,
Things we must do; things we must not.
How many hours a day to pray,
Things we must hear; things we must say.
I really don’t think god gives a damn
‘Cept how we treat our fellow man.
It is wonderful discovering you.

Hold nothing back, Londis.. we compromise our expression if we do. To me, you've shown great sensitivity with your ending.. what DO we have, if we don't have our care for each other in the world. It's the only answer to the problems. Well said. katy.
Yes yes yes... I agree with you on this.. It is about our hears .. our souls.. how we treat this earth and the people on it.. Not about eating meat on Friday.

I do believe that how we treat our fellow man is at the top of the list. Very good observations about different beliefs of what's important to God...according to individuals interpretations.
It's taking such a long time for mankind to learn to express universal love. How we treat our fellow man is our measuring stick. Love is the master key to our survival. Good points here, Londis!
