Four Fools

A fool once said, "There is no god!" Another said, "There is!" A third fool said, "Well I don't know." A fourth just said, "Gee Whiz!" I havn't courage to profane Like he who uttered first. Nor arcane wit, like number two, To challenge he who cursed. The honest fool is number three, Like me, he'll wait and learn. But the last fool, a fool indeed, His Soul an empty Urn.

Londis, I can say with much authority that Katydid will love both of these poems. She'll go especially whacko over that last one. Ah, I can hear the giggles now. That's why I love my Katydid.

Two very differently inspired poems. What a treat to read! And good enough to eat, as well. Chomp! Smack! Gulp! Burp! Ahhhh, don't need no Rolaids here.

Sigh.. as I sit here blushing, then weeping, then giggling in turn, I spin as well, trying to know where to start. To honor me with words is to know my heart.. and when they rhyme and sing, as these do, my flattered self soars.. How sweet.. how lovely, Lonny..
