I like writing for individuals...so this one is for Dani, (her vision is only exceeded by the beauty of her words).
BLINDING BEAUTY
It isn’t love that blinds men’s eyes when peering at the sun,
But a brilliance that’s too radiant to see.
Nor is it love, but beauty, which blinds men in the heart
Her luster clouds the minds lucidity.
So when I read the words that you’ve presented in a poem
And find you poetize so brilliantly,
There’s a question I must ponder before giving my review.
Its elusive answer is a puzzlement to me.
In the words that you have penned, is it true worth my eye perceives?
Have you really written all I think I see?
Or is my heart just blinded by the fair sight that you impose?
Am I just looking at the words through your beauty?
:) This is a most beautiful tribute, Londis! Dani never ceases to thrill my poetic core when I read her captivating verse! I become transported, deafened to real life, upset because they end...which may be a beauty of its own. :) Eternity is frightening, rereading is...bliss, relived. Dani is bliss, and you've epitomized her well!

What a lovely poem…It is a most interesting question…I’ve felt something akin to that when reading poetry before.
