Through the house of poetry I seek, maybe the exile of portraits in multiplicity of shadows outlining lights of myself...
Never the same, and never the same lights exiled in the portraits - or in that intrinsic crowd of my own - which I don't detain, but find, after all in the mere purity of my mutable shadow seeking me through the walls where, clearly, I outline my only soul if unfinished upon the subtle soul of a poem at home.
This poem is really so very true, poets fill so many canvasses witht he portraits of words of things they know and care about, some are clear, some abstract but all master strokes from the artists brushes.

Intriguing and provocative write. I also liked its flow. It seems many poets have this type of connection to poetry. It is a spiritual walk for the poet who dives deeply. :-) ~~Nordette
Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
