Triptych of A Time
I want myself, today, in dilutions of blue
on a triptych of washed air and time unabridged
in metamorphosis of itself, suspended
not upon a tabernacle or even a wall, but rather
upon a sea with earth near and the limit
merely of being an island that you will reach
- should you want to – through vitreous
transparencies of clefts open along a glance
on the foam of a decipherability coming
from submerged currents of replicas
that regenerate and are route, yet do not drag.
Thus, I want myself split where you can
reach me whole and pervade me while
I fluently impregnate you and we vastly
breathe each other, as light expands.
A light that does not blind, but rather
projects other dilutions, subtly obvious
of all the gradations possible between
this blue of today, the shadows of yesterday
and the tints that tomorrow will conceive
the time in which I’m portrayed and you
reflected – such as it is, in one more or
in a thousand more retables, with no true
beginning or end.

paint our own portrait together.
If a cool draft should wish
to seep through the window of our souls,
let us embrace each other and create
a new warmth in the canvas.
If darkness should fall upon our shores,
may we be guided by the light of love
within our hearts and spare none
of the brightest colours of our palette.
Thus we blend and no one who admires
the masterpiece we now create shall be able
to discern the beginning or end of either of us.
No one will know whose hand is holding the brush,
no one can tell which hand is guiding the other.
Our creation shall be called an Act of Love.

I've said it before - NO-ONE writes about the blending of souls like you and Joseph. I am always haunted by how well the two of you compliment one another. It is my sincere hope that everyone find that harmony in their lives. Beautiful expression - as always!
Peace,
