“carmina burana” (“profane chant”) is inspired in the opera with the same title by Carl Orff and dedicated to Joseph; it is also my collaboration in a collective poem, "Lightness".

carmina burana
did you know? sometimes I descend from the breath and alight upon your hands a mere syllable, still warm, of that god who took flight. and I become clay of seeds, a light dough of recreated voice like this, when you take me to your mouth and moisten me of saliva. and… did you know? your power is even greater, when you share me as a poem conceivably a fusion of salt and bread moulded of divine orgasms – and then eat me and I write you where you are the one who recites me. a breath again, growing like a chant, profane and of fire, from the god in your hands. poetry and “amor volate undique; estuans interius”. (*)

I am stunned at the lovely earthiness of this also. Portugal seems to invoke something different in people than most countries.

No one to my knowledge in the medical field has managed to find and capture the human soul or the actual part of the heart that creates love but you with this work of art have come as close as possible. Very unigue and beautiful write Alexandra the goddess of love on earth.

Reading this is like soaring into a poetical stratosphere that not many can attain. The play on words chills me, they are so very . . . earthy . . . and metaphysical at the same time. You may still be ascending the poetical landscape, but I have to tell you, it does NOT get any better than this.
