There is a Poem (Undressing)
There is a poem. A poem that undresses me.
A poem like predictable fingers clearing
unpredictable margins of deep shivers.
A poem that recites me with the boldness
of a mouth avidly drinking, from the mouth
of the source, its own thirst.
A poem that gusts and streams and writes
along the bed of my body, another body, whole.
It is a poem that reads me and flows us
with the natural impudence of a river
split in a delta as it clinches the ocean
that pervades it.
And then casts me ashore, bringing
salty upon my skin, the signature of the poet.
A poet whom I whisper in this jetty -
the heteronym of that tide, predictable, of a poem.
An unpredictable poem that, boldly
as it floods me, undresses him.

When a poem "undresses" itself, it is more easily welcomed in the heart. When a poem "undresses" its readers, it becomes a sensual masterpiece. That is what you have achieved here, meu Amor.

I am amazed at the brilliance and luster of this write. Each line and verse a masterpiece in itself. The poem and the poet reflect the passion that the other inflamed and impassioned in you and your work multiplies it ten fold. The graphic is perfectly attuned to the work and dazzles but does not take away from the beauty of the poem. Well done indeed.
