Garden and days carried in the beak

We enter the garden, at times, the days and I
- not holding hands, nor across distinctively
presaged archways; we enter the garden -
merely - the days and I.

Wet, those days, and I, merely trickling them
step by step or flower by flower wet, deflowered
until each one is a mere stamen among
other flowers which no longer are.

Across the air, the hands and archway, like wings
that fold, and the garden, flown, blossoming merely
those chants, devoid of petals, of the days
that enter, at times, and I…

Voiceless, wet and nude, merely.

I don’t know if I wait, at times, for you to gather
or to sow me anew, and the days…

But I do wait, and the hands, at times in
passage, unique songbird, for the presage
of all the petals you carry, at all times, in your beak…

Yes, the one with which you write harmonies
that will bloom even upon the mutest, most
achromatic of stems, and inscribe archways
in flying colours across the air, upon that wetness
of the nude light…

So that we may enter, holding hands
and yet with wings unfolded as flowers
in full bloom, the garden…

You… and I with you
– one at a time… all days.

My Dearest Love,

Your words wrap around my entire being like a soft, warm blanket. You are a pleasure to read and so easy to love.

A mesmerizing stroll through petaled pathways of garden, heart, and soul. Superb work that blends finely positioned symbolism with compelling subleties of inner reflection. Totally enjoyed the read.

To find such a garden, to see a blossoming of life and of love, shows what a great writer you are. Victor

Stunningly expressive, Alexandra. I agree with most of the other comments on this one. It is an existentially creative jewel I thoroughly enjoyed.

For one to find those places never before discovered, those places which hold treasures most coveted, to experience those times when all becomes one in the light of love, are goals worth attaining. Pray the presage will be one of curiosity and exhilaration, and not doom and gloom.

For an afternoon, I would like to be a little teeny tiny person so I could enter in and explore the inside of your multi-faceted brain dear Alexandra.

Blessings to you ...

Multilayered complexity shines with hope in each vividly expressed, illustrated word; Alexandra, no one writes like you. That is why it is such a pleasure to read poetry like yours--one is never, ever disappointed. Well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Well I have to say this is just stunning.
At first I thought maybe a bit depressing, but as I read, it's warmth and beauty shone through radiantly.
