But then, there are also days like this. When trees are bare and so am I, and yet their boughs and my breasts are warmed by the blush of inherent blossoming… When there is frost upon the ground and yet dawn is touch and skin awakening, and there is hardly a breeze and breath is soft… When lips are pruned by hunger for other lips, so kisses will grow more copious, and their pulp more lush and sweet… And when the morning mist is peeled back for dreams to be unashamedly exposed to the glow of other shameless dreams that invite me to start living all of them at once… and I say yes.
How did you know that my eyes were resting upon your nakedness? How did you know that my fingertips were ready to blossom upon your skin? How did you know that my lips were ripe and bursting with dreams?
