From ripples “clinked” by “The Musical Magic of Light” by Jude Forése & “Keeper of the Flame” by Kate Burnside (and her review of my previous poem “Confluence” which “clinks” on Jude’s poem “Catalina”) - Thank you, dear friends and poets, for the pure glow of wholeness in this crescendo of harmonious ripples!
ONE CLINK (for Kate Burnside & Jude Forése)
yes, there is music in the light gently tapped upon all crystalline sides of morning, this multifaceted goblet offered to all thirsts for harmony from all beginnings.
fingers have learned the secret of being dew, played like a vision that trickles smoothly down the cool surface of haze, and the eyes sip from that lucid simplicity within long before the lips actually listen to its silent, fluid synthesis with the cadence of breath – and hum it to a rippled sun, until that pure glow of wholeness in crescendo, serenely touches its own, then the rim of another goblet, and another, and yet another to the infinite…
I so adore the resonances in this, darling Alexandra, that make us all, as it were, into tuning forks that vibrate one against each other, summoning that perfect pitch that hums through the created universe. This reminds me of the Song of Aslan in CS Lewis! I have heard it said that deep vibrations picked up sensorially are especially beneficial to the body's immune system, creating a restored order, equilibrium and sense of well-being. Bless you a thousand times for the dedication, but, like the breeze blowing over the strings of a Celtic harp, we are all both receivers and transmitters, empty vessels that channel rather than contain... and so the flow goes on... I love also the in-depth review you gave to Keeper Of The Flame, annunciating the OneLight. I am thrilled that you thought my words so fitting. The image here that particularly speaks to me is that of the vision that trickles smoothly down the cool surface of haze... ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! Bless you and thank you. May grace and beauty kiss in your own hearts. Love, Kate xx
through marvelous images you capture the emotion of the universe, being the magical clink that resonates through everything, reflecting the light of all created and all that is to be ... excellent work, Alexandra ...
The delicate link of all creation, one of my favorite themes! Splendid work Alexandra!

Eileen

Xandinha Querida,
For me, this poem and its concept is yet one more confirmation of our belief that everything in the universe is one and that, when our creativity is unencumbered, our natural vibrations naturally meet in a harmonious way with the similar vibrations of all energy sources around us, no matter how far away they may seem. "yes, there is music in the light ... clink!"
If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.
felt really good to read
enjoyed!
tribute to two wonderful poets as well!!!
