Poem Artwork

a poem, like anything… but what it is, in the water of morning

a poem, arched. like the neck of a swan
polishing the water of morning with another
swan. in the same silent dance. of love.

a poem, round. like his mouth on my “oh”
soaked in the water of morning. in the same
wordless chant. of love.

a poem, silly. like having too much
to say in the morning, while the water
is rippled only by the unsaid. of love.

a poem, therefore, like being parched
in the vicinity of water. simply because
morning does not write it like what it is -
a poem, sated. of love.

Xandinha,

The opening line of this poem invites the reader to lean into the rest of it.

"a poem, arched in the same silent dance of love,
a poem, round in the same wordless chant of love,
a poem, silly while the water is rippled only by the unsaid of love,
a poem, simply because morning does not write it like it is -
a poem, sated of love."

A truly astonishing love poem!

Beijinhos,
Joseph

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... like Oxygen... which is Love itself. And H2O is Heavy Oxygen, which is like breathing under water, which is Love. And morning is the drowsy OOOOOOOOOOOO of a yawn that is stifled by the kiss of Love. A never-ending cycle, that is the marriage band of Love. And The Poem is that which envelopes the whole... signed, sealed, delivered... It's yours! :)) A filigree write, TY Kate xx

Um poema com saudades.
A tender whisper to make a delicate riple in those morning waters.
Like a love letter I wished once to receive.
Tranquil and brillant.
