Retrospection - woman in (de)creative creation
(a regressive progression)
In a certain time and in the images of that time,
I feel myself in receding pregnancy. I delivered them,
the time and the images, with blood and without a scream.
At them I gazed, of them I sniffed, next to my thighs, the wail
– and the cord, I severed it, from time, the images, and me.
Little by little, I lost the faces of time and of the images –
and the hands, my own, became memories, concave of pain,
less and less rigid upon my belly, in convex forgetfulness.
Then, of the time, and of the images of that time, returned,
intense, the nausea – that, in me, however, became vague,
like an embryo which, vaguer and vaguer, returns to what
it was, before it was beginning.
Now, that time is, in me, the sperm – withdrawing from the ovules,
not yet fertile, of those images.
And, lying here, in a bed of feeling as white as the end of a cycle
– of that time, uncertain, and of the images of that time, I feel nothing;
so purely virgin am I of myself, and, of being, impuberal, even – still.

Self-Awareness & Beyond the Herd Insights (reflections of Sha’Tara) - a comment to an extraordinary article... that evolved into an article!
This one really blows my mind away. It's like the unfolding of a past life regression. This poem creates a vision in my mind of an artist standing before a blank canvas, imagining every brushstroke that culminates in a masterpiece. Then the artist traces each step backwards until the blank canvas appears once again but this time the artist knows the first colour to be taken from the palette and where the first stroke of the brush will find its rightful home.

Having given birth to words, you capture the soul of a poet brilliantly--stunningly penned and imaged. Well done.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
Blessings to you and Joseph..

One isn't aware of metaphores, just of words telling us an intimate story.
