There are clear openings in the coarse innocence of these walls;
openings with a view to inner silences closed to any sounds
but those of echoes; echoes open, in turn, to nothing but
that illiquid, natural rawness of the stone that returns nothing
but reverberations of aims: of words thrown like other stones,
of prayers like feathers fluttered from ascending wings, of dreams
like the supple, colour-dipped swish of a brushstroke, of love like
the wordless utterance of pure nakedness, in naked light…
While some do not, some find the openings, the eloquence within;
and some - those like stone on deaf stone - hit, with a thud; then, rebound.
Oh my goodness... this sends shock waves right through me... I feel like a quake within those solid stones of love-relationship of yours! The earth of me trembles. My inspiration is riding all over the place with this one, dear Alexandra... from the sulty shadows on Moorish sandstone palaces to the dark interiors of Northern island cottages... So much is in this... like a stone cast into a bottomless well, I have not yet heard its splash within me. You have made an opening within me indeed. Bless you, Kate xx
I loved to nestle into this smooth beauty. Wonderfully soft and expressive.
BTW, I lost all my emails due to a bad bout with some Trojans and worms. If you could send me an email with your address info I'd appreciate it.

deep love expresses itself mostly in the still echoes between two willing to understand the silence. And I would imagine, too, that if we were all regularly touched in those blessed places, that the touching would develop a tweediness and the moment would lose its meaning.
Such is the ephemerality of creatively inspired moments; the fugacious blossoms of connecting with another momentarily in the Light; moments that impress the deepest and become bound to our souls as building blocks.
To be truly touched by another - without conjuration, without parti pris, without concern for the branchings, without intellectual illusion - is the greatest gift we can experience in this life.
Alexandra, I imagine that you are expressing yourself with the silence eloquence of words never said but always thought, of thoughts never given but guarded inside a poet's heart, and then, as an afterthough...the ethereal vibrations saying, silently yours?
Quietness, prayers answered though, love andswered too twice, in a lifetime, I found the openings, the eloquence within. Lovely Lovely poem and can be analyzed anyway you want to, I suppose.
