~Reality of Fantasy...
came through for me when AmaranthineMuses
published my poem on 4-2-11~

Poem Artwork

Nostalgic tinted dream, basking in my purple reign...from a dream,
he calls my name, leaping into my imagination with a purple rose...
my past of youthful desires.

Bridging the gap between dreams and desires, like a colored vibrant
stream, watering twilight with a sign...come with me...of an outstretched
hand...forever to quench my thirst.

A sensation inexpressible slowly cast my heart into shades of a deeper
meaning...A panaroma of dreams within my dream, seducing me with
happiness, indulging in fantasies...mesmerizing embedded visions
coming true in maturity.

With the dawn slowly approaching, and the future still awaiting to
be reborn, a gentle breeze from an open window drifting in,
I take a deep breath of inspiration.

Once again my name you speak...stealing my heart in purple reign,
awakening from my dream to the rose upon my pillow, so very real,
I see You.

Lady Vivian

Vivian this is beautifully written. Thank you so much for allowing me to view your published poem. Love the picture you added to your poetry it gives the visual part of the poetry you're describing and writing from the heart. Keep writing my friend.

Reading this I feel as though I have sinned and done you a great wrong by peeking through a keyhole and seeing what should only be seen by you and the one handing you the purple rose.

You are a real wordsmith. Each paragraph tells a story and draws me forward. It's hard to resist, a siren's call, wishing it were for me.

Vivian L Dawson always writes from the heart and with sincerity and beauty. I have read many of her poems and they should be cherished by all who ready them. A lady of elegance, royalty and beauty with gentle words of a true southern belle. I salute you Lady Vivian
