Cardinal in princely red of male, distinctive beard of black design.
Assuming, assertive hunter...in repose or taking flight.
Mate, safe in color of olive gray by contrast, in their bramble
nest of leaves and grass, three to five eggs with spots of reddish
brown and lilac...she protects.
Stately reigning...with the crown of boldness peaked in the red of courage. He hunts and brings the food for life to the nest
for mate and young to be.
Be still and observe in wonderment as The Cardinal...by definition...is "A Turning Point" when a bird takes flight... justified in bright-red.

ANNA
elegant, emotive without gush, poignant.
Kudos!
John
I saw one of these birds in NY almost daily, every time I was about to take a snap, it flew off.
I did not know these things.
They are such wonderful little sparks of life!
Blessings,
Christine
