Thundering waves, voice of the beach.
Our domain...sparkling is the white sand,
a blanket of evolution for our comfort.
Pause with me, be not troubled, command
the powers, deliver your strife upon breaking
waves...take away only tranquility.
Take my hand, sailing we will go,
revisiting the depth, dampened clothes,
sea salt lips...goodbye waves...cliffs from
home...children of La Jolla evermore to be.

That's a real reverie Vivian. Thanks for the memory. Cliffs from home. This sums up an adventure of ours. I'll always remember it. Your words make it all the sweeter.

I know nothing at all about La Jolla but from the picture I'm looking at I'm sure the poem is correctly titled. From the way the children are watching the "Marshmellow Foam" you would think they were watching real marshmellows bubbling up as they were being roasted.
