Poem Artwork

Timeless hours swirling via a harsh wind, infinite
grains of sand eroding works of ancient minds
evolving quest to conquer questions unanswered

Turn around, give way to your future unfolding,
let the past bask in the mysteries, comprehension
revealed in timing only to revisit moving forward

Slumber not in a conscious grave for that is not
living, only foreboding to be trapped in perception
decaying

Distance as counted in light years in vastness
of space~Relative for the wind to be your legacy~
leaving footprints indelible furthermore to follow

May your Sandman cometh from a virtual oasis
emitting kaleidoscope vision, conveying your
desert with sands of time limited to one grain at a
time, evolving to build that pyramid of your mind, understanding adverbial pointing of direction

This cleverly portrays the past gradually being eroded thru time and whilst our history makes us what we are, the call to look to the future is particularly timely.

A deep, poetic offering. Interesting are the dynamics of your mind, probing and intellectual. A thought provoking read, Vivian. A poem to savor and read over and over again to capture the full meaning. An excellent, challenging read.

Interesting and heavy is this offering, Vivian. Unearthed secrets from the dead mouths of long ago is tantamount to your own secrets and intellect and you aalso will carry these gems to the grave, which will, perhaps, be discovered centuries later and the great minds of that era will attempt to decipher a past great mind.

Super Poem.
