~Four Trees, 1917~ each one unique above ground yet all roots firmly in the ground emanating life so statuesque Acknowledge to be see them, Not through them Subject to every wind blowing feel the power for direction Willowing leaves in voices listen for fine tuning Plant roots in life to parallel be like the tree pointing outward and upward enriched by depth Cultivate innate qualities, veering attention toward understanding making each ring of age count towards knowledge growing Don't let your tree of life fall alone without listening within the forest lend an ear, one tree at a time ~4 Trees 2011~ and Beyond (c) Nineteen Seventeen 4 Trees 2011 30July2011 Vivian L. Trees really do talk, if we just listen as your poem expresses...I love trees they fascinate me and I do take time to notice :) they have such strength and beauty~ (I wrote a poem called arms of oak)
