Just a childhood game?
I question by plucking petals
one by one
What will the outcome be
ever growing in well-being green
not under a burnt orange sky
Will a sun appear overwhelming
in yellow intellect before all the
petals fall in disarray among the
weeds before I am finished
Or, will He just call and tell me
that he loves Me, and can't live
without me...as am I to ponder in
my living garden of daisy colors

Brought a smile to my face, this one. I remember the girls at school playing this game, I suspect the more numerate cheated a little on the outcome. Hope you didn't have to cheat.
The poem just goes to prove that you don't need some lofty subject to inspire you.
