Poem Artwork

Pictorial perfection, youth and
beauty in picturesque reposing

Every French curvature draped
of vintage lace cries of love
in silken roses resounding
eloquence of French
provenance for freedom
in youthful romance

Yet of a woman's arrogant
mind ready to seduce you
with skin of finest porcelain
foregoing china delicacy
for your virile embrace

Deceitful the dried rose
cascading of raven hair
conquer my naivete
for your mind to release
wanton desires

Capture my innocence
encompass my heart
evoke our souls
love without end

Rise with the sun
set with the moon
twinkle heavenly stars
never us to part
love being divinely infinite

I like the alliteration in your opening lines. There is a beauty and the beast theme hidden here I think. Your interpretation of the picture and the interaction with the (male) viewer is well expressed. The French angle just gives the poem that extra frisson. Good work.
