By direction of a westerly current
splashing upon your easterly shores
my love remains very alive much as
the flora and fauna so rare of your
White Cliffs of Dover
Sensations of Jasmine perfume
soft caressing fingertips around the
nape of your neck reawakening our
sensuous pleasures laid too dormant
Forever to be, my youthful
face now grips your presence
much like that tickle on your nose
that doesn't go away justly of my
butterfly kisses upon your face
Free now to relive long gentle
nights so long ago in the Spring
of our years when flowers ruled
of San Francisco mornings and
Golden Gate evenings when ever
so romantic as of your London fog
so worthy of a poets verse
Bridging an ocean being neither far
nor near...but in spirit I always am
of ocean waves parting us not for
depth of memories keeps our lost love
alive and well sustaining of a bridge

You have that gift of bringing the reader into your writing like no other. It's something I've been striving for, but it usually eludes me.
San Francisco and London blanketed in fog, so true. Bridging an ocean brings us together. Well noted.
Beautifully done, lady of poetry.
