Lofty room her view rose petals anew of peaches and cream dreaming all grownup
Come play with me
always part of heart
such child like of
innocence never to let go
floating glowing bubbles
magic of blowing circles
foretell of enlightenment
Buttons and bows
you my teddy bear
now softly comfort me
strings of elegant
pearls to be a lady
when I grow up
All in a Sunday afternoon
a portrait to paint
real years of contentment

Nice play on words in the title. The world of little girls is a bit of a mystery to me but any insight is welcome. If only we had their contentment.
Sweet dreams of innocence, Vivian. Those are precious moments all too soon shattered by life's realities. Still, at the time they are such wonders, these dreams.
My, my, this is as sweetly written as the photo you posted. Lovely combination of tender charms. Another stellar Lady Vivian poem.
