In the scheme of things
who are we so minute
to laugh, cry, love, play
in a universe so vast
time means nothing
of One to sink or swim
But within to traverse
one day at a time in
awareness retrospect
of mind altering waves
with a tuck and roll out
surmounting that crest
overcoming a drowning
Prevail the scheme of things
secure exalting beaches
One being our Own in Universe

You give us much to think about and embrace Vivian.

IOU... (will repay with my next poem)...
Peace,
Roger

A grand observation of the scheme of thins, Vivian, and an indepth treatment of what exactly we ought to do about it. You are right on with each layer you uncovered.
Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
Perhaps "..Quiet Storm" will help rekindle old flames buried and long forgotten or express the love so deeply locked inside of your soul longing to be released.
