Poem Artwork

Showcase darkest corners of
your mind from an artist pallet
by a slight blurring of fiery red
orange tempered with a restful
blue for awakening the visual
wonderment of You

Frame the illumination and
hang it on the gallery walls
of your mind as priceless
in value works of art and
call it entitlement

Kiss a wafting wind that blows
abound of chiming lyrical whispers
gentle to your ears for standing
lofty undaunted by harmful gusts
when life is not that fair nor easy

Beware abyss of cliffs
landscape your life beyond
where saving grace in restful
blue of vastness looks over you

Edge gaps of disillusionment
with much ado a sundering
through spectrum of mind via
aloof waves of diffractions
through given borrowed time

I like that idea of life as a landscape, something we can view from many angles and viewpoints. The ability to paint our lives in any way we please, (if only we had the nerve), is an interesting thought. Good inspiration for a poem.

There is not one speck of aloofness here.
Bait and switch say I!!!
There is however to borrow your words, a full spectrum
of life's frequencies split perfectly from the prism that is your quill. Patrick

Ah, learned a new word . . . diffraction . . .

You can take a photo, painting, etc., and give it the life the photographer or artist wanted it to have, and often fall far short of their intended goal.

But not you. You breathe life into whatever you decide to take on. That is talent to the nth.
