Maiden so fair, Dragon's lair
cavernous caves of darkness
with thermals ascending, exhale
the fire, fanning intense degrees
infusing with warmth of innocence
As the dragon flies forward
so should we in adornment
of body attracting a soul mate
of heart by depth of wingspan
Master your dragons so they will
dissapate your demons each and
every day and tomorrow will become
today in endless thoughts of dragon
valor to follow through with power
Bravery and Courage for a means to
justify ones end, attainable for a life well the living, gliding through wisdom
of ones flight forward evermore

I think mastering your dragon is so much more civilized than slaying it, even if there is a maiden involved. We all have demons/dragons to face in life so your advice particularly apt. Deal with them and move on.
the dragon symbolizes good fortune, strength and power ... it is the master creature to overcome the demons within and without ... your poem effectively traverses this truism ... l like how you utilize its image ...
I am not afraid of Dragons, actually they intrigue me...I would love to meet one...lol Dragons can be very powerful creatures for sure, and if anything I would love to have one on my side in any case.

A marvelous portrayal of self–actualization. More people should read this. It gives one an all something to strive for despite the odds.
I managed to thwart my demons without dragon power, or maybe I was using dragon power and not recognizing it. Fighting demons is not an easy task, but you must never stop trying to defeat them, after all, it is your life.
