A rose will be a rose adrift in it's own scent until it is offered to you asking only for your scent of love in return Many a romance nere one so deep in my valley as yours forever in my life I gift my hand to you velvet soft extentions of love instillng the sweet fragrance of matrimony within redolent gardens of love to say "Yes" (c) Trappings for Endearment 21July2012 Vivian L Dawson

Who could refuse an offer so sweetly put. They say a poem should appeal to the senses and this certainly does, I can practically smell that rose.

Puts me to mind of Shakespeare's immortal lines in "Romeo and Juliet": "A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet." ...nominal issues aside, the crux of this poem is an unspeakable gift, and you've expressed it in your own inimitable style, as usual, only there is nothing usual about it! Well done, dear Vivian.

I love its scent�the rose, I mean. She always forgets the thorns when she sees this velvety color and olfactory delight. Her pheromones rise and she is in love.
