Sometimes a piece of writing really makes you think: this is one. They say that 95% of people don't believe in the sixth sense in the purely scientific definition but your poem eloquently makes the case for an enhanced appreciation of nature through the "blending all the senses". That interpretation will do for me. I enjoyed this.

When we are truly rid of all preconceived ideas and let ourselves slip into another dimension, only then can we let our minds roam freely to accept and experience the scope of what we can feel, see or smell activating all of our senses. Your poem is well constructed, well thought out. The photo puts me in mind of a wonderful day spent observing nature, letting go and just being in the present moment. Like George, I love the picture, makes me want to BE there! Your lines of poetry here gracefully substantiate the title you have given them. Using the word "composed" is so appropriate, in illustrating we are 'in charge' of what we choose to perceive in the field of awareness. Oh, you are so right, Vivian, when you delved "around the corner of my mind to my sixth sense of awareness," you were able to conjure up pleasantries and sights and smells which may have heretofore been tantalizing out of reach. But when we make the connection with our "sixth sense of awareness" magic happens.
