This is kind of the opposite of the Portrait of Dorian Grey. The idea of putting someone on a pedestal holds little appeal for me, your earthy attitude is more attractive. There is some good stuff here, it's well thought out.
"No Boundaries, Please" is a look into the heart of a woman who does not want to be restrained, but to live her life as a "REAL" WOMAN"
who doesn't gather dust on a shelf! She is warm and loving, accepting love when it is presented to her. I love the words, she is so perfectly in tune with herself.

Very revealing write in so few lines. I get the feeling of a bird in a cage, flying out the open door to give anyone seeing the sight of the 'real thing,' much more to appreciate than before. Beautiful piece. ~~ Diana
This is a wonderfully authentic poem, a refreshing "take me as I am" look at relationships. Your picture reminds me of a good laugh I had at an ironic mock-up of an old standard: The Gleaners... surely you've seen the picture of the three African-American women stooped over at work in a field gleaning stray bits of straw... (back-breaking work) and in this mock up, the closest one is cut out of the picture and she is resting with her feet out of the frame, looking straight at you with a cigarette in her hand (obviously on a break)... No boundaries, please... indeed! Always a delight, dear Vivian.
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
Contraband Marriage, traveling along the hemline of loving after incarceration, is a love story written in lyric and free form, set in reality with a different ever after.
If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.
