Green color of photosynthesis
the beginning of life to cycle
fields of four leaf clovers
believing faith stems in the
willowiest of togetherness
to be likened to a feather
upturned to the sun fearing
not blue winds of change
ending with a dance in purple
rain believing how much you
you color my life with shades
not ever so black and white

Your first line is quite unique, I have never come across anyone before who had the courage to use the word photosynthesis in a poem. They say a good piece conjures up mind pictures and this flooded my mind with colour. I'm sure you were laughing in that purple rain.

"to be likened to a feather upturned to the sun" is a wondrous image of light in light enchanting to delight... sweet stuff, dear Vivian.
Green is a healing color and
purple the spirituality of ones
higher self brought into yourself..
So this soul is your healing and
your spirituality (my perspective)
Clearing out the dullness of
black and white shading you with
the beauty of the colors needed
in your life...
Oh, the colors of this world are what make life and relationships so beautiful and worthy of notice. Leave the black and white to the more mundane of subjects, like balancing a checkbook! To live the majority of life in the rich colors of the earth is almost sensuous and so alluring. Color me green with touches of lavender and dusty pink. A very special poem, Vivian.
Shades that cover your life makes for interesting days and more interesting nights. There is something to be said about everything being either black or white, you never have to guess what is coming, but then the guessing, oh, that is the fun part.
