Easy are the edges first building
inward then to tackle the harder
pieces filling the center mindfully
ever spreading outwardly ~Begin as if Life~
Working the puzzle exposing mystic
of masquerade behind any mask seeing
confetti fall in brilliant lights while
fireworks fill the black of night for
Carnevale's true embodiment of
extravagant festival frame of mind
to see picture piece by piece
completed lest the mask obstructs
your whole of visionary power
Exteriors can appear easy
but then you must go deep within
to discover the true structure of
everything... For some it can be easy
for others not so much for we all are
a very complex structure woven carefully
together...
But it is only within our own power and our
own ability to be visionary's thus removing
any mask :)

This made me think. The parallels between writing and assembling a jigsaw are just so striking; how come I never noticed before? Creating a picture from all those pieces/words.
And isn't Carnevale the embodiment of the real Italian spirit. I enjoyed this.
It is interesting how these festivals to hedonism have arisen from the oppressive Catholic religion denying the rich traditions of native people. How the festivals have been subverted so that the elite can hide behind masks and play forbidden games.

I like this very much, Vivian... it's difficult enough to piece jigsaws together with unobstructed sight, let alone through the filtered screen that peering from behind a mask also adds into the equation. Although you have perhaps placed one over the other in a layered effect here, I also am having much fun in thinking about how much puzzle pieces and masks which we indulge by choice contribute to the game of life's mystery. Fascinating work. xx

covert shenanigans showering forth from the festival mode to mingle with and regale in a rush, nay a torrent of imagery and idealized innuendo and burst joy's palate for perfection in a poem of impulse impregnated by an immortal moral: life itself is a celebration... and this fine art imitates life itself, dear Vivian...

A lovely introspective assembly of words in life's puzzle. Makes one wonder... will, if, when we complete the puzzle and see the picture will we be able to be rid of the mask? Okay - I got pulled in and made that all about me. Good job Vivian!
