Poem Artwork

~Discovery~

A midst emotions pulling and pushing
creating a swirling altered reality comes
a much deeper place of inner wisdom
definitely needing engaging from within

Reality becoming within guidance of chatter
with regard as which fork taken for roads
of higher living confronting our lowly demons

Commanding our vehicles of driving forces
with due respect to own our emotions and
desires spiraling ever upward towards
perception making them inward in reality
by disclosure for becoming our truth

This reminds me of that quote: "To travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive" Sometimes the reality isn't nearly as good as the anticipation.

A much deeper place of inner wisdom - sounds like a marvelous place to be.

we have to muddle though so much
before we reach any form of clarity
but it is worth it;
well said, Vivian

Yes we can control our emotions and in so doing seek a peace which is always the carrot in front of us that we are chasing.

In your own words you've layered this wonderful poem with Zen likeness and flavors of Robert Frost...well done.

Strange trees? Strange something. The poem plays out the photo with realism to the nth, but puts a little shuck and jive toward the end playing with our emotions. Gotta love it, and I do . . .
