~Flocked Together~

Perched
upon one's soul
arched
with rays of color
unattached
by life floating
endlessly
through dreams

landing
when the wind is
calm inside
writing with quill
guiding
our hopes
placidly flowing

partaking
many journeys lightly
feathered
of earthly value
given a bird so fine
for
your winged flights

If only we could progress thru life in the feather-light manner your poem evokes. The language really captures that floating feeling.
