Each moment we strategize, say or do something to
Trivialize or magnify an issue to suit our convenience.
Every moment is spent in improving the situation;
We surprise the way we go beyond our innocent ancestors
Who straightforwardly went forward, without bandaging eyes,
They spoke less lies and less deceit came from them.
Now we say things with ten future steps in mind;
Every matter we politicize; who will fall who rise
We have in our minds always. We contemporize things
To suit our purpose, also cut to size what does not suit.
It is now a world of guise, or should I say disguise.
Where is that simple world gone? O Lord, help me realize.
