A nun tries to get another woman to be a nun.

 Come join me

I didn’t become a nun for no reason. I had to consider the storms

That awaited me ahead. You look so pretty, and if pretty you are to remain,

Join us. There is beauty here, of a different kind. In austerity lie ornaments;

You need to notice them of course. Roses bloom out of the thorns;

Diamonds emerge from the coal. There, outside, you think you are happy,

When Happy you never are. You run after happiness, run and keep running.

Happiness is God, the realization of God. Happiness is giving up something,

Only to gain another kind of bliss. In convents there are joys that the world never eyes.

Come hug me, kiss me and you will see what I mean. Hug me and you hug God.

Can the outside world promise anything similar?

An amazing poem. My grandma wanted to be a nun but her sister was a nun so her dad wanted only one nun in the family because he wanted grandchildren. So because of him I was born. So is life. I feel nuns should eventually be allowed to get married.

Peace, love and blessings,

John Michael Domino
