The mystery of where people go after death

 Where do they go?

Where do they go after they’ve lived their lives?

Where do they go I wonder?

The soul that gives us our life survives;

Can’t be destroyed, torn asunder.

Can they return to their habitats,

Once they’ve left forever?

Do they come back to their clothes, their hats?

Or do they look backwards never?

They go to the grand Durbar, they go,

Where they meet the Father.

That bliss is so great all else they forego.

Here they’d happily live, rather.

The burdens of existence are shed, are shed.

A lightness is gained forever.

People may say, ‘They are dead, they are dead.’

But those people are not clever.

Well expressed! Special soul seeking poetic thoughts abound here!

One thing is for sure - we will all die sometime. All my Christian friends would like to go to Paradise. So would I. one of my closest friends had a near death experience and he says Heaven is more real than life here on earth. I believe him! Read the book, "Heaven is For Real" by Todd Burpo. He is a young kid who died and went to Heaven and he told his dad about relatives that he met in Heaven that he NEVER knew existed. His dad was shocked - but little kids don't lie.

God bless you and let me know about your experiences as well,

John Michael Domino

Next Arrivals by Robin Ouzman Hislop

Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
