Life is not a bed of roses

 The World is such a difficult place,

Keeps you at a trying pace.

Keeps you at a trying pace.

It pins you down; smile or frown;

It pins you down; smile or frown.

Takes you towards your disgrace,

If possible with a blackened face.

If possible with a blackened face.

Some get on without disgust,

Some just seek their happiness is lust.

Some just seek their happiness in lust.

Cruel or kind, you’re likely to find;

Cruel or kind, you’re likely to find

The end is always covered with dust

It’s not you may; it is you must;

It’s not you may; it is you must.

Thanks Ronald and thanks John. Was in the mood of writing a song with a sad content. You know there are phases when it seems difficult to sound brighter.

Poetic expressions of truth. Life does have it's ups and downs. I guess it's like that so we can know the difference.

Peace, Love and Bountiful Blessings,
