Meeting like strangers
We met as though strangers We met as though strangers, She complained against me. The decades spent together Had turned to mystery. Life changes, people change. How heaven turns hell. What lies the next moment Whoever can tell? The earth has surprises, Just bubbles are we. When one might burst We never can see. Nothing really lasts All must come to end. And those that harden Must crumble or bend.

Good insight into humanity. Unfortunately, religions that require monogamy do not understand that people and times change and an outlet must be provided for them to move on.
