Dreams of Eden

Poem Artwork

Slumbered senses near dawn
blue light of winter morn
casts topaz shadows about
soft waterfall cascades down

Whispering on misty breath
down lush green mounds
sending crystal trinkets
of tranquility abreast

Inner thoughts arouse
visions of Eden revised
where perfect life began
interrupted by sin

Ripe fruit temptation
traded our perfection
life still seeks its start
the beginning of time

Love never shaken
mankind never forsaken
dreams of Eden
lives in hearts

Where hope is cradled
a treasure still sought
by all mankind
and HIS promise still
stamped by a sign
A rainbow forever
And so, Eden lives on

"Dreams of Eden" evoke tender delicate promises throughout each line

Lovely combination of spiritual philosophy and Edenic imagery. Reading DREAMS OF EDEN took this reader on a very satisfying soul journey and back again.
