you come into my life when I need you most

you allow, no, encourage, the words to flow

they rush, unbidden, to my lips

your warmth and care open worlds to me

urge me to reach for all I can be

with ease I lose myself in your thoughts and words

feelings so new, so tender, emerge and grow

blooming in confusing, colorful chaos
