I am the Past
of that I know,
I saw the future
sail past my soul
I lived for truth
wrote in veiled poetry,
the present forgot my name
I could not see
I thought I'd be a light
tho now my heart is dark,
I lived for beauty
it is a lark
It was not the part
I thought I would play,
even now here alone,
my faith lost its way
Some only want me to write
sweet words of tender romance,
sometimes even Irish Poets
don't want to even dance
Mist now covers my eyes
so tired in my mind,
the future and the past are one
not the treasure I wanted to find
to walk a path and learn as we go
Often we choose a path that is very difficult
But not one we cannot handle
May arms enfold you Dark Knight
and know one walks beside you
on your journey
Love and Light
Lily
perhaps there is another treasure
and not the one you sought to find
but the one you are unable to see?
either way Write On en'nip Irish Whiskey
Rath Dé ort!
