It Was A Dark And Stormy.....

....Woman that sailed into the rundown bar

with her wide brimmed hat and vaporous soul,

slowly spouting meaningless words and slang like

expressions

that made me make a mental note to to check later in my

pocket dictionary. Her detached smile and cool indifference

made me think I was in a film noir or the overactive

imagination of a cheap paperback novel and I had to

wake up!

Men gravitated towards her like Bears after honey, only she

wasn't  giving away free samples, only the hope of

something

                              thrilling...she had the combination

numbers to a hidden treasure, but her split personality

only

    wnated a drink...She said

" Do you want a Twist of Lemon? Double the juice from half

the fruit?"

She bit half of it off for me and ate the rest...her soft as

rose petal eyes made me think of a Velociraptor, as a tremor

from the earthquake earlier shook

the sleepy bar awake...........

Oh my what an interesting lady! To capture
so many's attention...

This is one of my favorite lines...

"made me think I was in a film noir or the overactive
imagination of a cheap paperback novel and I had to
wake up!"

How many times have many of us had this sort of experience...
and the need to wake up back to reality :)

Great one Dark

Love and Light
Lily
