It's so very hard to accept Yourself and most of all to accept Other for who and what they are. Trusting this may help

LOVE YOURSELF.

How many times has this been said?
What does it mean that thought in your head?,
How can I achieve that perfect peace of mind,
What is it ? where is it ? How do I find?

That sense of Nirvana, which is always a quest,
That many are seeking, to bring out the best,
To finally find that,, which through life we seek,
Never expressing to others, not a word of it speak.

The paths are so many, that are traveled it’s true ,
By those who endeavor to seek out the clue,
The self satisfaction of being as one,,
Completely attuned in a harmonious bond,

In tune with nature, in tune with self,
Being content with the hand we are dealt,,
Not seeking to gain at others expense,
Nor letting negative thoughts break down our defence.

Looking inside for that innermost power,
To overcome doubt, hour after hour,
Looking for help and a guide from above,
With upholding thoughts from those that we love.

Yes Loving Ourselves is not easy it’s true ,
There’s so many struggles, we have to work through,
The greatest of these is to find peace of mind,
And acceptance of self and the rest of mankind..

Well observed, well expressed.

"In tune with nature, in tune with self,
Being content with the hand we are dealt,,
Not seeking to gain at others expense,
Nor letting negative thoughts break down our defence."

It can be so difficult, can't it?

You are so right. Just love ourselves and always believe in ourselves is the way to live.

Well-said and well-done!

Great words of wisdom, John. It's hard to be depressed for very long if these words we heed.

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
