Her Reflection
By Handsum-Hart

He was out & about
Walking to & fro
With a host of romantic thoughts
Moving here & there
And traveling back & forth
Across this mind

As fatigue was introducing itself
To his body
A mystic pond he came upon
With peaceful waters walking deep
He walked his eyes upon this pond
And saw the reflection
Of an treasured lady
With magnificent beauty
Appear out of somewhere
He knew not of
Causing his mind
To come to a swift standstill

In this reflection
Her smile looked like heaven
As it flawlessly mirrored
The beauty of God's spoken words
And he was pining
To play with the lady
Behind this heavenly smile.
Her skin was ancient gold in color
And priceless in forever beauty
There was an aura of serenity
Shining on her face
That gave glow upon his heart

Then in an angel's eye-blink
Her reflection he beheld no more
But his mind being quickened
Photographed her reflection
With picture perfect accuracy
Like a Canon digital camera
And showed it to his soul
Whenever he thrist
To wade out deep
Into her mystic pond
And drink from the depths
Of her heavenly reflection

Dear Ronald...
The picture a perfect foil for the words. A sensual poem full of movement, obvious appreciation for the feminine form and a dreamy quality.
