My Flower Lady (The Lemon Stardust) By Handsum-Hart
I liken her To the velvety stardust Swirled in the center Of the Asiatic lily Nicknamed the Lemon Stardust
But know this The womanly love-dust Swirled in the center Of her heart, is heavenly Therefore, I shan't Nickname her, this I shall ask the stars to do this
She is the North Star's Favorite flower And whenever sadness has stolen My map of life And lost I become I simply follow the trail aglow With her womanly love-dust Until I reach her flowery heart And then I shout out In muscular voice That old familiar phrase "Home sweet home"
Dear readers, this is my third book of poems, and inside are a special collection of what have turned out to be not only MY personal favorites, but also the favorites of many of YOU. Some of these have never been available in print before...
lovely as well.
A happy and productive 2005 to you and your Lemon Lady.
