Deep Love, What Is It?
By Handsum-Hart

Is it how a full moon
Loves to romance the night sky
Or
Is it how a man
Fully committed to his sweetheart
Loves to romance her
Each hour of the night

Is it how clouds
Love to float
Or
Is it how a man
Loves to have his sweetheart
Float into his arms
When she is in want
Of his teddy bear hugs of love

Is it how leaves
Love to be blown
Or
Is it how a man
Loves to blow
His sweetheart away
With mind-blowing kisses

Is it how flakes of snow
Love to stick together
Then melt
 With the rising of temperature
Or
Is it how a man
Loves to have his sweetheart
Stick to him
Then melt into ecstasy
With the rising of his passion

Deep love, what is it?
Why don't you tell me!

It is all of these things and it is the way souls blend, it is the way heartbeats echo within one another, it is that in body, soul, mind and spirit they are one and cannot be separated. It is in seeing things in that person that annoy and understanding that that is our problem and not theirs and learning to get over it. It is in knowing that no matter how bad things might be at this moment that our life would not be as good without them. It is in knowing that they are a necessary pain because without them you would not feel alive. It is in the knowing that God has blessed you both by bringing you together.

Take care,

Sherry

I think you have pretty much covered all the bases with regards deep love, unless you add how far the man can stick his...er, uh, maybe I better stop there...this is a family site...;) Ed

Ah Ron, it is feeling him near you even though he is far away, it is the echo of his voice in your heart telling you to be strong when you are in despair, it is him coming to sit by your side, and reaching for your hand, when you do not wish to speak, it is when he leans forward and whispers in your ear, " I love you" in those moments when you do not feel lovely, It is that leap in your heart when you see him or hear his voice, and know without doubt, that someone in this world loves you.

Your poem is so very lovely and beautiful, I could not help myself!
