I don't know if ths suits the category, but I wish there was an Inspiration category. This poem is about realizing how lucky I am to have my husband in the chair even if he leaves his shoes beside the chair.
The Shoes Beside the Chair He leaves his shoes beside his chair And sometimes it upsets me When I see yet another pair There on the floor beside me. I think again and thank the Lord His shoes are there beside the chair They tell me he�s still with me And I don�t care the shoes are there. It matters not what others think If his shoes are there beside the chair It matters more to me he�s here Beside his shoes, because I care. -Emma L. Willey Copyright 2003
